Application

Applicants to the program should have an M.D. and/or Ph.D. degree, be in the final year of residency or an advanced postdoctoral position, or be at the junior faculty level for less than two years. All applicants are required to submit the following:

  • personal statement
  • signed letter of recommendation
  • curriculum vitae

All materials are submitted in the online application. Acceptance to the program is determined on a competitive basis.

Applicants who are accepted to participate in the CDI will receive an expense-paid trip to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, sponsored in part by a training grant from the National Institute of Mental Health (R25MH090947), by the Department of Psychiatry and Western Psychiatric and Clinic of the University of Pittsburgh, and by the Depratment of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science of Stanford University.
