Laura Weiss Roberts

Laura Weiss Roberts, M.D., M.A.

Dr. Roberts is best known for her work on ethical issues and public policy relating to both clinical care and research science. Her research is known for contributing valuable evidence to complex and controversial issues in health policy related to vulnerable populations. A recent focus of her work has been identifying and developing the standards needed to support ethical practices in genetic research, and Dr. Roberts has also gained a national reputation for her success as a mentor and teacher of young scientists.
