Christina Mangurian, M.D.Dr. Mangurian has received a NARSAD Young Investigator Award, the APIRE/Lilly Schizophrenia Research Fellowship, and most recently a UCSF CTSI Career Development Award. Dr. Mangurian is currently the Director of the UCSF/SFGH Public Psychiatry Fellowship, the first such fellowship in California and one focused on an implementation research project. Dr. Mangurian has also started a weekly seminar series at San Francisco General Hospital named "Community Psychiatry Research Seminar" and aimed at helping psychiatry trainees and clinical faculty learn about research ongoing in the department and pursue their own research interests. She is also responsible for working with community service agencies to improve patient flow and quality of care received by people with mental illness who are served at the hospital. |
